On behalf of our team, we want you to know that we believe it is truly a privilege to be a part of each child’s learning here at Foundations of Learning.
Foundations for Learning was established by Sylvia Leck in 2010 as a non-profit foundation to provide educational support to families in the Zürich area with English-speaking children, or children who are learning in the English language. As an extension of this objective, the Foundation also offers a regular programme of teacher training courses and seminars on learning support themes and also offers seminars on parenting and expatriate life.
The Foundation works with an extensive team of highly qualified teachers, psychologists and therapists. At the Foundations of Learning, we provide high quality support programms that helps every student realize their full potential.

OUR SUPPORT PROGRAMS
If your child has already been diagnosed with a specific learning difficulty and you are looking for support, we’re here to help. On the other hand, we are also able to diagnose learning difficulties using our programme of assessments and testing. In every case our approach is to help the child, and also to work with the child’s family and school as well. More Info

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“Our Experience with Foundations for Learning has been most beneficial. Sylvia and Dr Paul Decker helped us and our son understand what we needed to focus on to help him achieve his potential at school.” “Our daughter has not only been transformed into a very happy and more confident girl, but also most of her physical complaints like bellyaches etc. have disappeared too. An amazing and wonderful result in such a short period of time.”
At the Foundations of Learning we strive to keep our tuitions as low as possible and rely on the generous support of our current families, alumni families, companies & friends of the school to help us meet our annual operating budget. We will thankfully accept your donations at any time. Any and every little, or large, amount that you can offer will be most gratefully received, put to use in one of the most important endeavors there is: the education and development of your children.
