Description
Start the summer off with a perfect combination of productivity and fun! What’s trending? From social media hype to scientific literacy, students follow the arc: Claim, Connect, Calculate, Conclude. Each session is organized around a real-world health claim that links to the sciences—biology, chemistry, and physics—with maths framing at least 25% of the content each day.
Designed for students preparing for competitive university programs, the course develops both scientific understanding and the ability to articulate curiosity about wider scientific issues with confidence. Inspired by the style of German chemist- communicator & YouTuber Dr. Mai, the modules blend theories and demos with fast-paced investigative lectures resembling a mini-medical school with discussions shaped by student interests. Unlike short crash-course revision, this week-long program enriches learning through continuity and feedback for a lasting impact, offering impressions to be talked about in college essays & interviews.

Learning Objectives
Revise — consolidate core concepts across maths and sciences through continuous engagement and targeted feedback, strengthening fluency and confidence for inquiry-based assessments.
Rethink — extend scientific literacy beyond a single syllabus by connecting real-world investigations to analytical writing such as IB IAs & EEs, AP IRRs & IWAs, and Maturaarbeit.
Reflect — track personal progress through structured reflection practices and articulate your scientific perspective in language suitable for university interviews and applications.
Program Benefits
Integrated & Aligned Curriculum — builds interdisciplinary connections through applied problem-solving and data-driven reasoning, supported by international frameworks (IB, AP, A-Level, Matura) to build conceptual fluency and mastery.
Scientific Literacy & Communication — strengthens the ability to interpret evidence, explain findings, and communicate mathematical logic with clarity both in writing and speaking.
University & Career Readiness — cultivates insight and intellectual independence in discussing science beyond the classroom, equipping students for higher education, future professional pathways, and life-long learning.
